Greater Visakhapatnam Corporation (GVMC) launched the MyCityMyBudget campaign in February 2021 with Janaagraha. GVMC Commissioner Srijana Gummalla entered into an MoU with Janaagraha to elicit citizen inputs for the city municipal budget and enable councillors to consider citizen priorities for ward developmental plans.

75000 citizens were reached for inputs with the assistance of 10472 ward volunteers
564 Ward Sachivalayams and all the eight zones of Vishakhapatnam were covered
Identified 3 key areas of priority based on citizen inputs: Road infrastructure, Solid Waste Management, Underground Drainage
